Zenilson Monteiro
Executive Chef
Zenilson Monteiro is a Cape Verde native who moved to Portugal as a child, where he discovered a passion for cooking. After completing culinary training, he interned at top hotels like the Marriott Lisbon and Penha Longa Resort. Starting as a line cook in 2013, he steadily rose to become Executive Sous Chef at Penha Longa. In 2024, he joined The Ritz-Carlton Cairo to help manage nine restaurants and catering operations. Now, he serves on the MILUX Culinary Advisory Board for Marriott EMEA and has contributed to events worldwide, including the World Cup.
